Research and Markets has released the 2010 Leading Providers of Legal Process Outsourcing report to their repertoire of offerings.
The legal process outsourcing or LPO across the world was valued at $400 million last year. By the year 2012, LPO is speculated to move up to the whopping $2.4 billion. The report is a combination of research done on customer satisfaction along with an evaluation of market activity. This represents a broad perspective of the outsourcing sector as it is today.

According to the highlights of the report, most LPO users are content with the services offered by vendors. The room for growth in the LPO sector has caught the eye of providers in the BPO and KPO services. These are part of an inorganic growth model to facilitate setting themselves up n the LPO landscape.
The report also details which companies customers consider most useful for LPO services.
Incidentally, revenues from outsourcing LPO to India were expected to grow to $640 million toward the end of 2010. This compares to figures of $146 million in 2006. The LPO industry provided employment for 7500 individuals in India since 2006. By the end of 2010, that figure is expected to hit 32,000.
